SAINT JOHN OF LAS VEGAS is a buddy comedy in the vein of Raising Arizona meets Sideways, that chronicles the subtle, life-changing journey of JOHN, a former Vegas blackjack player, who, as a result of circumstance and forces beyond his control, is inevitably drawn back closer and closer to Sin City.

His extensive filmography includes roles in such films as Miller’s Crossing, Barton Fink, Reservoir Dogs, Hudsucker Proxy, Pulp Fiction, Fargo, and Ghost World. Most recently, he can be seen in I Now Pronounce You Chuck & Larry, You Kill Me and Paris je t’aime. |

Widely recognized for his powerful performance as “Jay,” the streetwise, trash-talking womanizer in The 40 Year Old Virgin, Romany has since co-starred alongside Will Ferrell and Jon Heder in Blades of Glory, and in Baby Mama, written by and starring Tina Fey. He also has a leading role in the new Mike Meyers’ comedy, The Love Guru, with Jessica Alba and Justin Timberlake. In addition, Romany stars on the Showtime series Weeds, with Mary Louise Parker and Elizabeth Perkins. This critically acclaimed series recently finished its third season, with Romany earning an NAACP Image Award nomination for Best Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series. |

Peter Dinklage has enjoyed a prolific career on stage and in film. Since his debut in Living in Oblivion, he’s built an impressive resume by pursuing challenging roles. After appearing in Safe Men, Never Again and Human Nature, Peter’s first starring role came in The Station Agent, which won the coveted Audience Award at the 2003 Sundance Film Festival and brought with it wide recognition for his stellar performance and the murmurings of Oscar buzz. Next, he was in Elf with Will Ferrell, followed by Penelope with Christina Ricci. Most recently, Peter was in his most high-profile feature to date, The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian. |

Comedian and actress Sarah Silverman got her professional start on the cast of Saturday Night Live in the early 90s. In the years since, she has appeared on numerous TV shows, including episodes of Seinfeld, Star Trek: Voyager, The Naked Truth, The Larry Sanders Show and Monk, and played a range of serious and comedic roles in films such as The Way of the Gun, Overnight Delivery, Heartbreakers, Evolution, School for Scoundrels, School of Rock and Rent. Currently, she stars in and produces The Sarah Silverman Program on Comedy Central, and was recently nominated for a 2008 Emmy. |

Originally a software engineer, Hue co-founded Bluelight.com. After the company was absorbed by Kmart, Hue decided to pursue his passion for filmmaking and enrolled in NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts, where he received a faculty commendation for excellence in filmmaking, and attracted the attention of fellow alumnus and mentor, Spike Lee. Hue’s first feature script, Prediction, was a Sloan Foundation finalist, his short film Tower of Babel was a world premiere at AFI FEST, and his short film Practice won the Golden Starfish award at the Hamptons International Film Festival. |

Since executive producing Water, the third film in director Deepa Mehta’s trilogy, which was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Foreign Film of 2006, Mark has produced Beautiful Ohio, written by Ethan Canin, directed by Chad Lowe, and starring William Hurt and Rita Wilson; and Before the Rains, by internationally acclaimed filmmaker Santosh Sivan. Mark’s first production with Sivan was The Terrorist, which was screened at the 1999 Sundance and Toronto film festivals, distributed internationally and released theatrically in the U.S., garnering an Independent Spirit award nomination for Best Foreign Film. Mark also executive produced Sivan’s second feature, Asoka. |

A three-time Academy Award nominee, Spike Lee revolutionized the role of black talent in cinema. His debut film, She’s Gotta Have It, earned the Prix de Jeunesse Award at Cannes, and his second feature, School Daze, helped launch the careers of several young black actors. Since the landmark Do the Right Thing, he’s continued to release a series of highly acclaimed films, including Mo’ Better Blues, Malcolm X, Clockers, He Got Game, Bamboozled, and most recently, When the Levees Broke. |
